Built from 1936 to 1942 the 170 V was the most produced Mercedes of the Thirties. Its strong four-cylinder engine was practically impossible to wear out. Nine body types were offered and prices ranged from 2 850 to 5 980 Reichsmark for the A-model. The Type 170 V was also the starting point of the post-1945 production and of the rebirth of the marque. Finished in red with black hood, beige leather upholstery, white steering wheel and a chrome-plated spare wheel cover. It has clocked 13 554 km (8 471 miles) since it had been restored.
